Congratulations to the UTS Mens Honours team for taking out the first state cup of the year! The boys didn’t do it the easy way struggling for a win on the Saturday, but coming through strong in the finals.

2011 UTS Volleyball Club Coaching Workshops
The 2011 UTS Volleyball Club Coaching Workshops are on from this Saturday.
These workshops are a mixture of theory and practice and they will cover the techniques and skills that we teach within our club. The workshops are compulsory for all UTS Volleyball Club coaches but are open to all members if you are interested in coaching in the future or would just like to expand your volleyball knowledge.
The details are as follows:
Dates: Saturday 19 March & Saturday 26 March 2011
Time: 2pm-5pm
Venue: UTS/Sydney Boys High Stadium, Corner Cleveland and South Dowling Streets, Moore Park (car park entrance on Cleveland Street)

UTS Volleyball Club Men’s Team Selections
Thank you all for trying out for the UTS representative teams for 2011. We had a very good turnout, with over 35 players trying out for the Honours and Division 1 teams. Unfortunately, we only have space for 12 players per team.

UTS Volleyball Club Beginning of Year Bonding Session – Saturday 5 March
It is time for the first pub crawl of the year! We will be starting at the Bat and Ball pub (Corner of Cleveland and South Dowling Streets, Moore Park) this Saturday 5 March and will crawl our way along the streets of Surry Hills. It is highly recommended that all attend, as it is a great way to meet some of the other team mates/UTS volleyball members (and bond over a beer or seven). So the plan is to meet at Bat and Ball at 5.30pm (after uni try outs at Sydney Boys High/UTS gym) where a few nibblies and small bar tab will be provided to get us started.

Uni Student Trials – Saturday 5 March
A reminder to all Uni students that there are Uni games trials on at the UTS/Sydney Boys High Gym. (Corner of Cleveland and South Dowling Streets, Moore Park) On this Saturday 5 March from 3pm-5pm. All are welcome! These trials are also for any student who wants to play socially or state league.
